Yale forklifts offer efficient drive motors that are proven for their reliability, durability and utmost performance. Furthermore, the Yale Hi-Vis masts provide innovative engineering for unsurpassed visibility and solid construction.
Very Narrow Aisle
This kind of narrow aisle forklift has been made intentionally to maximize storage density. Yale' s very narrow aisle trucks are particularly made for pallet handling and case picking applications which range from 16 to 55 ft. The company spotlights the NTA for high density warehousing situations that need maximum throughput applications.
NTA Productivity Enhancements
Electronically Programmable Pantograph: Electronically programmable pantographs provide great stroke lengths. This particular feature eliminates the time-consuming "double-biting" at deposit and pick up stations.
Motorized Pallet Trucks: The walkie-riders, walkie trucks or rider pallet trucks are other names for the Motorized Pallet trucks. The operators walk behind the walkie version that is useful for moving cargo in small places. The rider and walkie-rider units are useful for transporting cargo over longer distances. These units are designed so that the operator could stand on a small platform.
AC Motor Technology: The AC Motor Technology has responsive directional changes, provides smooth and rapid acceleration and has a high starting torque.
Smart-Glide Height Sensing System: The Smart-Glide Height Sensing System provides max travel speeds at many fork heights. It also provides step-less speed control by its ability to optimize travel speed.
Tri & Quad Form Mast: This stiff mast minimizes deflection and provides operator stability.
CANbus Controller: The CANbus controller enables for reduced wiring by as much as 40%, while electrical connections are reduced by 25 percent. This helps to provide improved visibility through the mast and better overall dependability.
Auto Deceleration System: The Auto Deceleration System improves production and reduces operator fatigue by eliminating the need to manually utilize the service brake.
Thermal Management System: The Thermal Management System continually monitors component temperature and adjusts truck performance. This enables trucks to run a lot longer and cooler.
180° Rotating Turret Head: The operator can easily maximize storage density and service both sides of the aisle due to the specially designed rotating turret head.
"Pneumatic" is a Greek term for "spirit". "Pneuma" translates to something that is filled with air. The majority of tires you use or see these days are more than likely pneumatic tires. Actually, most private motor vehicles and modern commercial transportation can not work without pneumatic tires.
Definition
Webster's online dictionary defines pneumatic tires as tires which are made from reinforced rubber and could hold compressed air. Any tire that needs air pressure to hold its shape is considered to be a pneumatic tire.
History
The invention of the pneumatic tire has been credited to John Boyd Dunlop, an Irish surgeon, who in the year 1888 developed the very first practical pneumatic bicycle tire. During the year 1895, the Michelin brothers Édouard and André, the Michelin brothers were the very first ones to use pneumatic tires on a car during a race.
Identification
Pneumatic tires are made from numerous bands of corded or plys fabric. Plys are usually coated with rubber which allows them to hold air pressure. Bias ply tires have the plys overlaid at a particular angle to the other layers. Radial tires have all plys laid at 90 degrees to the casing or tire body.
KInds
Tube tires are a type of tire which requires a rubber inner tube in order to hold the air pressure. Motorcycle tires on spoke rims, bicycle tires and older bias ply truck and car tires use inner tubes. Tubeless tires have a stiff bead on the sidewall edges that creates an airtight seal with the wheel. This eliminates the need for an inner tube.
Exceptions
The fact that pneumatic tires can lose air pressure and be punctured makes them unsuitable for specific applications. Tires used on forklifts, tires utilized in construction, tires used by the military are usually constructed with solid rubber or filled with resilient foam.
